A 3D configurator for RHODA's intelligent electric bikes. The idea came from their 2D configurator, and I modelled, optimised and built it for the web.

RHODA is a Sri Lankan company that makes intelligent electric bikes. After seeing the 2D bike configurator on Rhoda's official website, I had an idea: what if you could turn the bike around and build it in 3D? This isn’t official work, just an idea I wanted to see through.
From reference to model
The first thing I did was collect reference pictures of the bike. Then I modelled it in Cinema 4D, which took about five days, and optimised the model for the web with the Draco compressor.
Building the configurator
I built the configurator with React and React Three Fiber, using Zustand for state management.
